Hey there! I'm Adra, the creator of Soteria, Venus, Nemesis, and Filianore. I created these characters to represent different parts of myself that I felt are important pieces of me. These characters are essentially my way of processing life events, thoughts, and feelings, and I hope to be able to portray how we as individuals are made up of many parts that all work together through my posts.

Soteria

Soteria is a blind celestial being that takes human form. She is an extremely wise and benevolent soul that has learned everything there is to know and more about the world and how it works.

Venus

Venus is my main OC and my personal self insert - she is a mother and leader just trying her best to balance her life the best she can. She's a neutral point between Soteria & Nemesis.

Nemesis

Nemesis is a spirit of darkness and vengeance. After having been betrayed and left for dead, her strong will and desire for justice took over her soul and manifested into her new body. She now roams Eorzea, searching for her next victim to enact justice on.

Filianore

Filianore is a Dalmascan refugee who was gifted with the ability to sense and manipulate both aether and akasa. She has physical changes as a result of both, and conducts experiments while documenting what she learns in the hopes that one day she can contribute her findings to the world.

Soteria

Soteria is my newest OC. She is supposed to represent the side of me that practices stoicism & philosophy. She's an ancient being that studies the world and uses her human form to share her findings with those who will listen. Her abilities include time and gravity manipulation, as well as she has a superior sense of both aether and dynamis.She uses her aether sense to see, since she is blind, but she believes it benefits her not to see what the human eye sees. She does not make her abilities known to the humans she interacts with, but will do whatever she can to help anyone who needs it without being found out. She can also project an image of herself, or any image of her choosing, when she is in her astral form, to relay messages to people if she needs to.

Venus

Venus is my oldest OC and is essentially just a self insert. She is not a WOL and begins her story as the owner of an orphanage in Limsa. She cares deeply about the community she is part of and does whatever she can to contribute and help where she can. She adopts whichever children need her the most and does her best to raise them with the help of her partner.Outside of taking care of her family she is very intelligent and resourceful. She isn't afraid to get her hands dirty and would do anything if it meant keeping her family safe. She is a good listener and the community will often seek her advice.She has received visits from both Soteria & Nemesis in regards to events that have happened in her life.

Nemesis

Nemesis, for a while, was the only OC I felt comfortable sharing with the public. She was born as a result of a significant life change I experienced that was heavy and left me feeling a lot of negativity that I needed to process.Nemesis experienced an extremely brutal and painful death that left her soul bitter with rage. So much rage that her soul manifested after death and became what she is now - a spirit of vengeance. She has sworn an oath to deliver justice onto anyone who commits injustice onto undeserving victims.Nemesis will haunt her victims in dreams before physically coming to them. If they do not make amends for their actions, she will hunt them down and ensure they suffer the same slow death she did.She has sworn oaths to avenge numerous people, and has delivered on all of them. When she is not acting upon her oath, she hides away, lying in wait for the next call to action.

Following the Garlean occupation of Dalmasca, Filianore was promptly separated from her parents as a child and forced to work in a labor camp for the benefit of the Empire. For years, she lived a harsh life, where she was constantly under stress due to being mistreated, malnourished, and overworked. Although she was unaware as a child, she was born with a sensitivity to both aether and akasa, the latter of which produced itself in the form of her hair turning white.As she grew older, she noticed she could tell when things weren't exactly normal. She discovered she could sense changes in the aether around her, which led to her being further isolated and mistreated by the Garleans. They despised her for her race, and her sensitivity to aether was seen as heretical. As a result, in the middle of the Dalmascan winter, it was decided she would be thrown out and left to fend for herself.Surviving the harsh winter alone, she learned how to fend for herself and prefers to remain alone. Now she travels Eorzea and looks for areas that are dense in specific aether types so that she can conduct experiments and research to find out exactly how much of her gifts she can use. She also spends her time meditating and practices changing akasa by attempting to change the colors of the strange, color changing flowers found rarely throughout the lands.
